Massey Ferguson’s latest MF 8S Series Xtra tractor line prioritizes comfort without sacrificing power. Available in six models for 2026, from 205 to 305 hp, the machines feature a central tire inflation system to maximize traction while reducing compaction and fuel consumption.
“Demand for tractors in the 200- to 300-hp segment is strong, and user expectations are high,” says Jérôme Aubrion, director of marketing at Massey Ferguson in Europe and Middle East. “While updating this series, Massey Ferguson consulted new and existing customers, as well as dealers, to ensure it has the capability to not only satisfy, but also to exceed the requirements of farmers and contractors worldwide.
“With the MF 8S Xtra, owners are getting more than just a tractor. This is a dependable and reliable partner with a specification and the latest technology to suit their modern agricultural needs.”
In-cab updates include a revised steering wheel, a more ergonomical seat, electronically adjustable external rearview mirrors, a rear window demister, and an optional Entertainment pack with Android Auto, Apple CarPlay and Focal speakers for top audio quality.
Engineers also have installed several software enhancements, such as Massey Ferguson’s AutoTurn and Section Control for up to 96 sections, and AEF Isobus certification.
Under the hood, a reversible fan cools the engine by periodically changing the airflow’s direction to blow dust and loose debris away. This lets the machine operate better at lower speeds, while reducing the power requirement and saving fuel. Activation is controlled through customizable keys on the Multipad, or from the Datatronic 5 terminal. The reversible fan option is available for all models.
On the outside, a 360-degree 20-light LED pack can be installed on all MF 8S Xtra models to extend working days. The lighting provides 17,400 lumens more light over previous models. Find out more at masseyferguson.com.
